Brittany’s research focuses on using solid state nuclear magnetic resonance (ssNMR) and cryo-electron microscopy (cryoEM) to study the structure and assembly of the intrinsically disordered tau protein. This work will help in the understanding of tau aggregation and fibril formation; a hallmark of many neurodegenerative diseases.
